Peak Performance and SPAN INFOTECH (India) Private Limited Form Joint Venture Company For Software Development and Software Services

Columbus, OH, May 9, 2006: Peak Performance, a leading provider of insurance technology solutions and services for the property and casualty insurance industry, announces the formation of Peak & SPAN Solutions Private Limited of Bangalore, India. Allen Barnett will serve as the Managing Director of the new company.

Peak Performance has developed a solid working relationship with SPAN INFOTECH over the past several years, having utilized the IT resources of SPAN INFOTECH in the development and support of Peak’s insurance specific software.

Steven Isaac, CEO of Peak Performance states “The joint venture allows Peak to expand its services and pass on its cost reductions in IT development and support. The new company will be a Technology Services Provider (TSP) for insurance specific technology services. The service offering approach is to provide customers with multiple year IT plans, to meet all of their IT needs, while reducing their IT support and development costs by upwards of thirty percent. Companies can also elect to outsource their IT staff to Peak if they are seeking to maximize their cost savings.”

According to Prakash Grama, CEO of SPAN INFOTECH, “Working with Peak over the past few years has allowed SPAN INFOTECH to grow, while expanding its knowledge base in various software applications and insurance. It is exciting for SPAN INFOTECH to form this new venture with Peak as we see the US Insurance Industry being currently underserved from an IT solutions perspective. SPAN INFOTECH has over 350 India based IT resources and recently moved to new corporate offices in Bangalore.”
